They are, perhaps, the ultimate Hollywood bromance couple.
So it's particularly funny that Matt Damon and Ben Affleck are embroiled in a public war of words for the sake of charity.
But the long-term friendship hit a bum note when Damon sent the father of three a picture of his bare bottom, last weekend.

Cheeky! The Hollywood star sent the fax via his official office in LA

Having photocopied his buttocks, the Bourne Identity actor then composed a note from his management office in LA which was addressed to both Affleck and Jimmy Kimmel.
It reads: 'Dear Ben and Jimmy, here's my fax: Love MD.' Featuring a link to  their Omaze charity fundraiser site, it then says: 'Faxtag: Kimmel has man boobs'.
The long-term friends are taking part in a playful 'roasting' - which sees a celebrity become the target of personal jokes - to help raise funds for the East Congo Initiative and Water.org.

The fax is the latest installment of a pretend fight between the pair, which went viral when launched with an online video, last week.
In the clip, the famous pair of Hollywood friends mock their BFF status through a series of bickering barbs directed at some of their less than stellar career moments.
The duo promote their two charities in the video with the incentive to donate being the chance to win a 'double best friend dinner date' with the two stars.

Damon, 43, tantalizes fans by offering: 'And you and a friend could win a trip to Los Angeles and stay at a four star hotel and be our very special guest at a very special Hollywood event.'
Sweetening the deal, Affleck, 41, explains: 'It'd be like a best friend double date.'
